POLYLUX started its activities in Barcelona in 1964 manufacturing ballasts. As a result of automation of the industrial processes where control equipment obtained an important role, POLYLUX came very soon to establish itself in the field of voltage transformers and voltage regulation systems.

The constant innovative solutions and value-added products has maintained POLYLUX serving several specific and developed industrial sectors and the most recognized companies around the world.

One of the main specialities of POLYLUX is its Cast Resin technology for transformers and inductors which are unique in the low voltage market. The Cast Resin construction of our products provides several technical advantages with respect to classic finishing techniques based on varnish impregnation.

These technical advantages make Cast Resin transformers and inductors more reliable and therefore especially suitable for applications with adverse conditions (corrosive environments, vibrations, electrical distortions and harmonics) but also for standard applications where reliability is required.

Apart from the wide range of transformers and autotransformers, we offer as well a complete range of filtering inductors, detuned inductors and 'Compensator' harmonic filters. The Compensators are based on phase shifting offering several advantages with respect to other filters in the market.
