Nature:
An Egyptian joint stock company, established according to the law No. 43/1974 and its amendment through the law No. 230/1989 of (The Arab and Foreign Investment and Free Zones).

Company objectives:

The extraction of salts from Lake Qarun as follows:
• Anhydrous sodium sulphate (Na2SO4), with a production capacity of 120 000 T/Y.
• Sodium chloride (NaCl) with a production capacity of 150 000 T/Y.
• Magnesium sulphate ( Mg2SO4.7H2O) with a production capacity of 27 000 T/Y.

Company capital:
The Company’s issued capital is 82350000 million Egyptian pounds (2010) divided into 82350000 shares, one hundred Egyptian pounds each.

Shareholders and their equity:
The shareholders of the company are some Egyptian Banks, Public sector companies and the Fayoum governorate as shown in the following Table (1).
