AK-PLAST, plastic profile and polyethylene packaging producer, began as a branch office of AKPA ALUMINYUM in 1992 by producing plastic shutters and panels and established as an independent company in plastic sector in 1993 by adding polyethylene packaging production.

AK-PLAST moved to its own plant in Tuzla Organized Industry Zone for Chemists and renewed the production machine lines and equipment with the latest technology in 1998, thereby increasing both production capacity and product quality and variety.

AK-PLAST has assured the quality of its products by obtaining ISO 9001 -2000 quality assurance certificate since 2004. It also has TSE Certificate.

Since its establishment AK-PLAST, exporting significant portion of production to Central Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Balkans and North Europe, has continued its investment and started the production of PVC door and windows under the brand name APLAS in 2006. It added second brand YEŞİLPEN to its production of PVC door and window profiles in 2012.
